The Croods is probably the project I had the chance to work on that struck the closest to home. Surrounded by a team of stellar talents led by Christophe Lautrette, Dominique Louis and Paul Duncan, I was asked to explore this unique, whimsical, precarious, but mostly dangerous world: everything will enchant your eyes, anything could kill you. Influenced by the bonsaï and desert gardens of the nearby Huntington in San Marino, I had the chance to explore and discover the most organic shapes one can imagine. People told me that working on such a project early in your career was like eating your desert first, they were probably right.
